CEO & Brewmaster
Bailey was born and raised in Vermont and attended Harvard University, and graduated with a degree in Biological Anthropology. She moved to Nashville in 2006 to attend Vanderbilt University Law School, and it was then that Bailey started homebrewing and discovered her passion for brewing beer greatly outweighed her passion for studying law. So she started writing her own recipes and cooking up the idea for Jackalope Brewing Company. Upon Bailey’s graduation, she convinced Robyn, her good friend from her days of study abroad at the University of St Andrews, to move to Nashville with the idea of starting a brewery. The ladies dove headfirst into brewery planning, and after a lot of effort, opened Jackalope’s doors in 2011. When she’s not shoveling grain, designing new brews, or losing to Will and Steve at cornhole, Bailey spends most of her time hiking with friends, watching live music, inventing/throwing theme parties, and trying to learn the art of airbrush.
