More Than Beer.

Jackalope has always been about more than what's in the glass. From the beginning, the mission was to build a place Nashville was proud of — a taproom that felt like home, a brewery that gave back to its neighborhood, and a brand that stood for something real.

Fourteen years in, that hasn't changed. We're still brewing the same way — with creativity, intention, and a healthy dose of Nashville spirit. We're still showing up for the community. And we're still making beer that brings people together.

The jackalope is a mythical creature — half rabbit, half antelope, wholly imaginary. We liked that. Building something that shouldn't exist, in a way nobody expected, in a city that hadn't seen it before. That's still the whole point.

What We Stand For

Our Values.

🍺
Quality First
Every beer we put our name on has to be excellent. Not good enough. Not close. Excellent. That standard applies to the flagship that's been on tap for fourteen years and the small batch release that's gone by Saturday.
🏙
Community Always
We didn't build Jackalope in Nashville. Nashville helped us build Jackalope. Community involvement isn't a marketing strategy — it's the reason we exist and the reason we're still here.
🌱
Sustainability Matters
We were the first Nashville brewery to invest in CO₂ recapture. We take our environmental footprint seriously — not because it's trendy, but because it's the right thing to do for the city we love.
🎨
Creative Spirit
From the jackalope itself to the small batch releases that push every boundary we can find — creativity is baked into this place. We'd rather make something unexpected and interesting than play it safe.
🤝
Good People
The team behind Jackalope is what makes it run. We invest in our people, treat them right, and build a workplace that reflects the values we show on the outside. That's not optional. It's foundational.
😄
Don't Take Yourself Too Seriously
Serious about beer. Never too serious about anything else. Nashville is a city that knows how to have a good time — and Jackalope has always been right there with it.
January 2026

Two Brands.
One Future.

In January 2026, Jackalope acquired Black Abbey Brewing Company — uniting two longtime Nashville friends who have been part of this city's craft beer story since the beginning. Black Abbey's beloved beers continue unchanged, now backed by Jackalope's production capabilities and distribution reach. Same soul. More range.

When the deal closed, Carl Meier — one of Black Abbey's co-founders and a respected voice in Tennessee craft beer — joined the Jackalope team. He brought with him not just the brand, but the relationships, the knowledge, and the quiet conviction that made Black Abbey worth acquiring in the first place.

Good to Know

Common Questions.

Are you dog friendly?
Legend says the Jackalope only appears to those with a loyal companion at their side… so yes — we're very dog friendly.

Dogs are always welcome on the patio, and frankly, they tend to be some of our best guests. Water bowls are ready, ears will be scratched, and compliments will be given freely.

Inside? The city says no, and we reluctantly obey. But outside is where the magic happens anyway — sunshine, cold beer, and a good dog at your feet. Just keep 'em leashed and comfortable.
Are kids allowed?
Of course. The Jackalope isn't just a legend — it's a rite of passage.

Kids are welcome, and we've got antlers for the young… and the young at heart. Try them on. Take a picture. Start a story they'll probably exaggerate later.

We also have a full collection of board games — and kids are strongly encouraged to challenge any and all adults to Connect Four or Guess Who. Trash talk optional. Winning probable.
Do you take reservations?
We run a bit like the wild — first come, first claimed.

Most days, you can wander in and find your spot. If you're bringing a full herd, shoot us a note at hello@jackalopebrew.com and we'll help you stake your claim.
Do you serve food?
We do — and not the afterthought kind.

Our menu was created by Armando Monterroso, a seasoned F&B leader with 20+ years across some of the country's top hospitality brands — so you're getting real-deal food that actually pairs with your beer.

Outside food and drinks aren't allowed… mostly because we've already done the hard work for you.
Do you have board games?
We do — and not just the dusty kind missing half the pieces.

We've stocked a solid lineup for whatever mood you're in — from more cerebral games to classics like Guess Who, Scrabble, and UNO.

Whether you're settling a friendly score, teaching the kids, or getting way too competitive after a couple beers… we've got you covered. Just grab a game and make yourself at home.
Do you offer anything non-alcoholic?
Absolutely. Not every legend is fueled by alcohol.

We keep a solid lineup of non-alcoholic beers, sodas, and other options. Ask your bartender — they'll point you in the right direction.
Do you sell beer to go?
Yes — because sometimes the legend needs to travel.

Grab cold 4-packs, 6-packs, or whatever's fresh and ready. We also fill 64oz growlers straight from the tap.

Every now and then, we release something a little more rare in larger bottles. When that happens… people tend to notice.
Do you offer other drinks besides beer?
We do. Cocktails, wine, and rotating ciders — because even in legend, variety matters.

Come for the beer, stay for whatever hits your mood.
Do you sell kegs?
We do — for when your gathering turns into something worth telling stories about.

Year-round favorites and seasonal drops available. $100 deposit gets you in the game. Email hello@jackalopebrew.com and we'll line it up.

We don't supply taps… but like any good legend, we can point you toward the right path.
