NewsRe: COVID-19 - Jackalope Brewing Company

March 14, 2020by Jackalope Lisa

Hey folks,

It’s a strange time, when you find yourself writing two posts responding to public emergencies in as many weeks. Our main message remains the same: both taprooms are currently open for their regular hours for anyone who could use a beer, a chat, or just a smile.

As brewers, our sense of purpose is fueled by improving peoples’ day with our craft. We will continue to do so as long as we feel it remains possible, while monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and making any changes in real time.

The health, safety, and comfort of our patrons and staff are of the utmost importance to us. Luckily, breweries tend to be experts in sanitizing. In addition to the WHO recommendations, our taproom staff, who always practice safe and hygienic serving, are taking extra precautions with the help of our copious amounts of isopropyl alcohol. We’ve asked any staff member who has even spent time with someone who is feeling under the weather to please stay home, and we’d encourage the same of our customers.

In short, we are here for you. Of course, if you’d rather do your drinking at home, we have stocked our inventory with six packs to go.

Also, as of right now, next Saturday’s Lovefest celebration is still going on as planned. Since it is a free, open to the public event, we have the luxury of making our decision on it closer to the day. You mean the world to us. Stay safe friends, and we’ll get through this together.
