Jackalope Brewing Co. and Friends Of Warner Parks are teaming up to to do an invasive plant removal in Edwin Warner Park! Meet at Warner Park Nature Center at 9:00am on December 8th. After a brief introduction, we’ll have a short hike to the removal site, where work will focus on invasive plant removal along select sections of the Harpeth Woods Trail. Volunteers should wear their weekend warrior outfits and plan to get a little dirty as we target and remove bush honeysuckle and Chinese privet. Warner Parks will provide gloves and tools for everyone in the group! The removal will wrap up around 11:00am, when each volunteer will receive a token for a free beer at either Jackalope taproom.
