For 15 years, Jackalope Brewing Company has helped define Nashville craft beer culture through creativity, community, music, and a spirit that never took itself too seriously.
From May 21–24, the WeHo taproom transforms into a four-day birthday festival featuring live music, DJs, vault beer releases, outdoor grilling, flash tattoos, vinyl culture, yacht rock, carnival games, pet parades, photo activations, and family-friendly experiences — with each day building into the next.
Thursday launches the celebration with a classic Nashville-style birthday party built around music, community, and beer. The evening features an acoustic performance, birthday cake and beer toasts, flash tattoos, rare beer releases, and a taproom transformed with streamers, balloons, party décor, and nostalgic Jackalope memories from the last 15 years. Thursday is intentionally intimate — the kind of birthday party that could only happen in Nashville.
Brad Sample grew up inside Ricky Skaggs' studio — as a teenager, absorbing players like Marty Stuart and Ry Cooder from one of Nashville's most respected rooms. That education became a career: lead guitarist, session player, and band leader across every side of the genre divide — Alice Cooper, Randy Houser, Maggie Rose, Brett Eldredge, Colbie Caillat.
NBC's The Voice introduced him to national audiences, but in Nashville he's long been respected for soulful guitar work, versatile musicianship, and performances that feel equal parts concert and late-night songwriter session.
Friday flips the switch from songwriter celebration into full birthday party mode. The taproom transforms into a neon-fueled dance party complete with glow wands, metallic streamers, bubbles, fog machines, specialty releases, and a soundtrack built to keep the crowd moving all night long. Friday is designed to be the brightest, most electric night of the entire birthday weekend.
Guy Fell has built a reputation across Nashville nightlife as the DJ you call when you want the party to escalate. Known for reading crowds in real time, Fell moves effortlessly through funk, dance, throwbacks, indie favorites, singalong anthems, and late-night party classics without ever losing momentum.
His sets are less about pressing play and more about building energy — creating the kind of room where guests unexpectedly stay for one more drink, one more song, and one more hour.
Saturday shifts the celebration into full Yacht Rock mode — dress the part and compete for best dressed. Two Brewmaster DJs at noon, live spinning art, a photo booth, Black Abbey vault releases, and Kandace & the Gents closing out the night with music from Christopher Cross, The Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac. The patio becomes a dance floor from 7:30 to 10:30 PM.
Two longtime Nashville beer personalities bring the jams to The Patio stage. "Captain" Carl Meier of Black Abbey Brewing Company and "Thirst Mate" Matty Hargrove bring an all-day vinyl Yacht Rock soundtrack to one of the weekend's most unique experiences. Join us for smooth jams, goodtime grooves, and party rockin' as Matty and Carl lay down the 70s soundtrack for the summer!
Kandace Peppers and her Gents deliver a yacht rock set built around the smooth, melodic soundtrack of an era — pulling from artists like Christopher Cross, Fleetwood Mac, and Eagles. These are the songs everyone knows — performed with the kind of musicianship that makes them feel fresh again.
Sunday is the final day of the 15th Birthday Bash — and we're going full Country Carnival. Bring the kids, bring the pets for a full day of entertainment. Face painting, balloon art, a walking magician, live country music, a pet parade with prizes for best dressed and more, cotton candy, popcorn, specialty releases, and hourly raffles all day long. Sunday night is designed to be the signature celebration of 15 years of Jackalope: music, community and Nashville craft beer legacy all in one room.
